Ilkka Poranen, currently Vice President Biofuels Growth Program will take over the leadership of the Biofuels SBU acting in addition to his current role as of 1 March 2022. Ilkka will succeed Panu Routasalo, Vice President Biofuels who will be leaving UPM to pursue a career outside of the company at the end of March 2022. In his additional role, Ilkka will report to Winfried Schaur, Executive Vice President Technology and Biorefining. We are currently looking for a suitable candidate to lead the Biofuels SBU going forward both internally and externally.
